With the old program, we had a file called "double takes," that told you which activity badge requirements could count for more than one thing. The new program is better and doesn't have as much duplication! However, to save time, you can combine adventures and still get the full experience of both while saving time.
Combining Adventures
Thanks so much! I just got called to be the Webelos leader (I was Bear) in my LDS unit and was looking for double-takes, especially since one boys turns 11 in July and is almost done with his Webelos but only just started one of the Arrow of Light requirements.

DeleteYou will have a tight schedule, but I think you can do it if you plan carefully. And if Mom and Dad are willing, have him do some things at home, too. That may ease your burden a little! Sometimes it's hard to get that help, though. Good luck! :)

ReplyDeleteHi Shaun, glad it was helpful for you. I (obviously) haven't done much here for a long time. I've been moved to other district responsibilities and haven't had a den for a while. It's a great idea to have this for the other dens. Let me look into it and I'll see what I can put together. Check back soon! :)
